Dental bridges are false teeth that are used to replace missing teeth.
There is nothing really attractive about a gap between your teeth and a bridge can replace the look and feel of your natural teeth. It will also help with the way you bite and avoids strain on the existing teeth which are either side of the gap.
We will be happy to explain how the procedure is done.
Why replace a tooth, which is missing or needs extracting?
The most obvious reason is the way you look – a gap in the teeth is not attractive. It is also important to replace a missing tooth to balance the way the jaw bites and avoid putting strain of the neighboring teeth. The teeth on either side of a gap might lean in and allow food to get packed in – this can lead to tooth decay, gum disease, drifting and over eruption.
We will be happy to explain any of the following procedures to you.
